Making Sense

How exactly does one go about looking for love. Looking for love can be done in all the wrong places like that song I've heard. But is the online dating thing for me? Do I go for those silly personals in the newspapers, or just sign up for one of those totally expensive dating services. Nah, that last one is for the birds. I'm sure there has got to be a sure way to meet someone and I know for certain it's not at the grocery mart. That is for sure. Oh well, maybe I will get a sign one day telling me what, who and where to look.

The other day I was reading this galz blog and a post about some random guy coming up to her and saying NICE LIPS. And her thoughts as they ramble on were, ... What if I had been doing a very complex DNA computation in my head, because I was an AIDS researcher on the verge of discovering an amazing new wonderdrug, and as I was walking along I was mapping out my morning lab work when all of a sudden Mr. Idiot blurted out, NICE LIPS and distracted me? Then I'd have lost my place and it would have been all for naught. That is why guys should leave women alone... Everybody agrees that technology and specially Internet will make life easier and help people to have more free time and spend it with family and friends if they are used as a tool. Have you even stopped to think about how life is different now than how it was when you were a child? You know, back in the "Good Ole Days". Think about it. What did you have in your house when you were 10 years old? Did you have air conditioning? Color TV? Some of us are older than others. But, there are quite a few differences in living today than just a few decades ago. If you don't really make yourself conscience of them, they can sneak up on you. What would be your idea of the most significant innovation that has come along during your lifetime? A good example for the 1980s might be the VCR. And, the microwave oven. Most of us would agree that the home computer would be the winner for the 1990s. With the home computer, we could do an enormous number of things such as research, making foriegn friends, or looking up almost any subject in the world. Just this morning, I was able to use my computer to check out 6 Channel Car Amplifier. I never would have dreamed of this when I was a child!

Got home from another uneventful and boring day at work. Traffic was swelling and the noxious fumes from the tail pipes is really getting to me. I can even smell it through the vents in the interior of my car. It just makes me wanna find a job that's closer to home, more convenient and less of a commute. But then again, you may not be able to haven't every wish you want in life, right? But when I come home, this computer, this blog, this very digital existances where I come alive and can find out more about anything I want, whether it's about skydiving, travelling, mountain cliff diving, 101 Board Cash Flow Game, or anything else for that matter, I just come alive when I get home. Man, that noise is driving me crazy! The condo next door is being remodeled, and it's unbelievable how the sound carries through the walls. It makes it impossible to concentrate. I love it when you have an epiphany. It's like when you sit there and strain your mind over finding a solution for something for days. And nothing. Not one iota of an idea. Then finally, it hits you somehow on the third or fourth day, and BAMMO! Like, I was taken up into their spaceship see, and like, you wouldn't believe it, they actually had Allstate Financial Workplace Division websites showing up all over their control screens! I mean, like, I knew the world wide web was getting large but covering the whole universe? Man that was something to see. I was then taken to dinner where we had their local foods that looked a lot like tar and smelled just as bad. Who knew? It's amazing how the difference in decades between my parents and me can have such an impact on perspective. But if you think about it, people in the 60s and 70s had much different things to think about than what we now have to compute in our brains here in the 21st centruy. Things are so much faster, and things change so fast, that one can easily get lost in all this technology. But is it not nice when you go to a search engine and just go looking for something, anything, could be on, I don't know, 3d Laser Engraved Crystal Macine, and there is everything you need and could want to find every possible valuable resource on that topic. Yup, even if it is about just that, the internet is the most amazing thing ever and gives you the world at your fingertips.

I got this email the other day that had a bunch of pictures of famous movie stars, singers like Madonna and Barbara Streisand -- but basically, very well known people. Anywho, each individual had two pictures in this email. A before makeup shot and an after makeup shot. And let me tell you, what a difference make-up makes. It's almost like some of these websites that feel they have to put on a show with all their fancy graphics and flash animations. I just personally can really appreciate the plain white background sites. Like this one site when I was search for 13 Bankruptcy Chapter Memphis on the net the other day -- and wouldn't you know it. Right at the top, there it was. The site that gave me everything I needed on the topic. Point on. Back to these famous stars, some of them were seriously gross and were downright ugly. Boy what a different make-up makes.

One thing I love to do on my day off is just start surfing some web sites and see where it leads me. In the past I would just start with a search engine and head out! Often I would find myself on a great site like Asbestos Attorney Cancer Law Mesothelioma and bookmark it as a great resource. But with the popularity of blogs now I usually start with some of the biggest and check out what hits my fancy. Which comes to my find for today. When I was living in southern California a few years ago I had the chance many times to visit Disneyland and had a great time. On main street while there I always noticed a second story above one of the main buildings and had wondered what was up there. Well now I don't have to wonder anymore as the Orange County Register has a web site with an interactive tour of Walt Disney's private apartment overlooking Disneyland's Main Street, USA. Wonderful full apartment view with some interesting information on the items in the apartment.

I need a vacation. I've been working too hard and I am on go-go all the time. I know it is time for a vacation when I'm on edge, my nerves are jittery, and I haven't had a drop of caffeine. One of the great things about living here is that I can jump on my bike at a moment's notice and ride to the mountains and instantly de-stress. Take yesterday for example, I was writing and article on Acting Agents Listings for an obscure publication and I was having terrible writers block. So I jumped on the bike 10 minutes later I was riding up a goat track, surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery you can imagine. What a way to meet your spouse! It was my birthday night and my ex who had been wanting to get back together with me, since who knows when, takes me out to dinner and a broadway show and we get back around midnight. I use Northwest Airlines Visa Credit Card and for Y! it now shows some of my old sites are linked to by 6000 other sites. This is very interesting. I don't where those numbers are, but I think the app. is pulling from somewhere new in Y! Those are 99.99% links that count, and they don't show up in the app. with names. Lumbar support is so essential for long term computer using. No one knows this better than me. I've gone through at least 4-5 chairs in the past 2 months, each of which have miserably failed to help me keep from fatigue on long term computer using. When I'm doing lengthy searches for things like Free, I can really tell a difference, and this latest lumbar support chair I purchased was the final one, I can tell. I was able to search a straight 7 hours without feeling cramped or anything. The next thing I think I'm going to get is one of those shiatsu chair massagers so I can be energized while I'm sitting. hehe.

Man, I had to tell this guy today straight to his face, CHILL OUT DUDE. He was taken aback as he probably did not expect that type of response. You know, it has been 2 years since I've moved in with my better half and there are still some boxes in the garage that remain unpacked from the move. I woke up early this morning; my mind was racing. Do you ever have those nights where you can't get to sleep, or those mornings where you wake up early and can't fall asleep again? This has been a busy week in more ways than one. And the weekend looks set to be much the same as it is mother's day over here on sunday and we have planned a celebration. The other thing is that I have even yet to buy a card and think of a present to give my mum. A quick search for Alcoholics Anonymous 1975 Edition The Big Book might provide the answer. What a start to my day. Found 3 mallards stuck in the small pen I built around the tree in my backyard. Built the pen to keep ducks from gobbling down birdseed I put for the small birds. Works great but every once in awhile security is breached and renegade ducks go rampant inside, inhaling all the food in seconds. Lots of fun going round and round the tree to get the mallards out. They kept flying into the chicken wire in their panic. I took off the wire top, and had my old mutt go one way, while I went the other way to steer the ducks to the open end. Almost made me want to have duck soup, but finally each one figured it out. I have now earned my sit-down time in front of my computer searching for Abb Africa and Idon'tcare how obscure that topic is. Anything now beats the hell out of going round and round a tree after cornered panicking mallards.

When I get stressed out, I mean, overly stressed out, I think the best medicine sometimes is to just schedule a weekend excursion somewhere close to my home, but far away enough that it gives me the feeling of being out of my town. Here I sit daydreaming again. It's cold outside; we still have snow on the ground. The older I get, the more I realize I hate the winter. It's great for the first few weeks and on through the holidays, but after January 1st it just drags on. Lack of sunlight and exercise is not good for me. Yea, I know, I could ski, sled ride, anything outside to keep active. But I hate the cold. All I do all winter is work on the computer and surf about the islands. I came home really tired today. Not sure why, but it seems like my energy has been going downhill for some time. Maybe it is my diet and what I eat. There is this say that says, tell me what you eat, that is what you are. And it may be just so. Ok. Just finished my domestic duties- cooked dinner, washed dishes and clean the kitchen. Gosh that's a handful! But the best thing is, I don't have to do it for the next 5 days! Haha! I went skiing today with the family. We've all vastly improved this season due to taking lessons four weeks in a row, but I'm still at the point where stuff happens. No doubt due to my overzealous style of wanting to improve rapidly and go faster than I should. Anyway, it was quite annoying (not to mention, painful) to have my skis put me into the better part of a split, especially when I wasn't going very fast. So everyone is thinking that the economy is in good shape and has weathered the latest rise in oil prices. I think "we ain't seen nothing yet!" The reason is that everyone is focused on the price of gasoline. Fact is, plastics are made from oil, trucks deliver almost everything the economy uses and creates. I wish all of my older friends and net-newbie friends were a little bit more savvy about sending emails. It?s a real pain - for them to send you an email - where there?s nothing in the body of the message, only an attachment. Then, to make it worse, the attachment is an attachment of an attachment? ad infinitum! And by the time you?ve opened all the attachments to get down to the original message, it ends up being a subject about Cheapest Airline Tickets From Sea To Orange County that you?re not even interested in anyway! If the darn thing writes, what really matters is the words that flow from the personz brain and through the hand to write the words. What a messed up few days it has been! This newest class is supposed to be a month of mentoring but it's more like dictating from the lecturer. A friendly mentor you can ask questions of, he is not. Guess I will just try to get along as best I can to figure out what I can. I just love teachers who tell you, "Go do this about Advanced Debt Management Solution New York." What they forget is to tell you how to do it. Just fine for them as they have the experience. But this lecturer doesn't even bother to tell you all the steps and where to look for the answers much less how to do it. That's OK. I'll figure it out and maybe even learn a thing or six in the process. At least I'm ahead with some interesting software.

Hey have you heard the news? Gosh! Where have you been? The news is all over the place. I'm going on vacation! Wow! That's a first! I've been working so hard these past 15 years that I haven't had a decent vacation. Isn't that great? It should be, but you see, my problem now is where should I go? This feeling is strange. I have not been to places outside of work. That's pathetic. Should I go on a cruise? or go to Disneyland? or tour Europe or visit Asia? I didn't realize vacation can be tiring too and I haven't even spent a day of it. So now, I need to spend time to plan that day. It's dreadful. But hey, I need a life too. What a day it's been. I started early in the morning just to find the train running late. That didn't bother me but having forgotten my office pass card was really annoying as I would've to wait for someone else to open the door for me. So I was walking on the beach the other day just watching the people enjoying the surf and the sand and seeing the little kids building their sand castles. Today we were in the middle of trying to apply one of those "No Money Down" deals while at the same time trying to assist a clients of ours to buy that same home from us. Wow did I have a great workout today, I really got into the zone and was able to rally push myself. I wonder whether commercials really are effective. Why do I say this? Well, I watch my better half take the remote control and press the mute button whenever a commercial break occurs during a show. Aint it funny how songs can bring emotions and past events and even conjurings of desires from old flames in the past? In fact, the strangest thing is that one song can summons up events about two different people at the same time and two completely different feelings about those two people. The mind is seriously powerful thing how it can summons up those days of the past and make them feel as real as they happened yesterday. And it's sort of what happened the other night when I was search for some general item on the internet. It was the most odd thing that ever happened to me. I got lost today. Sure, it was an unfamiliar place and stuff, but I only have to make two turns to get back to where I was going. This is so unlike me. Perhaps this is a preliminary sign of ahlzhemers disease. Who knows. Hey, wait a minute. Man today has been a long day. Windows crashed and I had to backup all my data from my hard drive and re-install windows. Then I had to transfer the data back to my hard drive. Is it early ahlzheimers or not? These days I'm either seriously spacy or there are times when I float in and out of a conversation. It's almost like I'm really there in the conversation and then all of a sudden, something comes over me and I cannot for the life of me recall what was being discussed. Should I worry about this, get my head checked or just see a doctor as soon as possible. I really should worry about this more than I do Arthritis Celiac Disease Rheumatoid. But hey, one cannot help sometimes straying from one thing to the next.

I cannot believe I actually have you reading this right here. It's a powerful thing when you get here from a search engine and then I command your attention like this. I understand the amusement some people get out of watching two people beat each other up, but I just do not get the sport itself. I wonder. Do these fighters sign a waiver before starting that they could end up with brain damage and grow up understanding that they could get the noodles inside their head beatin out of them? Perhaps fighting is all they think they can do and achieve in life, and better to do that than struggle. I've watched a few boxing matches in my lifetime, I just have never gotten into the excitement of two people trying to beat the other until one falls down. Can you say boring? Now, karate matches on the other hand are much more artful and strategically interesting way of dueling. Iguessbecause itjustseems that there are many more intracacies about that sport than boxing. It's just like the million zillion ways you can dice up a search engine search for 401k Savings Calculators. You can try different search engines and you may never find the same sites twice. Give me a challenge.

What a day! With what we got hit with outside I am so glad to be inside. With the moisture coming down and the wind whipping it around, I could barely find all the water tubs and hoses for the livestock. So much collected on my face and hood, I could barely see where to put my feet so did quite a bit of stumbling around while dragging hoses and hunting tubs. I cannot tell you how glad I was to get inside to a nice cozy room and sit and stare at my computer looking for Baby Back Pack Carrier and other sensible and nonsensical things.

I wish all of my older friends and net-newbie friends were a little bit more savvy about sending emails. It?s a real pain - for them to send you an email - where there?s nothing in the body of the message, only an attachment. Then, to make it worse, the attachment is an attachment of an attachment? ad infinitum! And by the time you?ve opened all the attachments to get down to the original message, it ends up being a subject about Alpaca Clothing Wool that you?re not even interested in anyway! Makes me wonder why I just don?t delete these silly things as soon as they hit my inbox. Guess I just want to see what my friends are thinking.

Well once again today shows just how the world of internet marketing can be like a nasty roller roaster ride. Sometimes I go read other peoplez blogs and I listen to them chitty-chat-chat and just sit there thinking, what the hell are these people talking about. Is it me that I cannot understand a topic they are discussing or did I miss it somewhere in the chronicles of these peoplez brains. I dunno. Today, I had to drive about 100 miles and pick up my daughter's car. That is, hookup my flatbed trailor behind the truck and drive over there and load the car and haul it back home. Everything went well, no tire problems or any other incidents and the trip gave me time to think about a lot of things such as putting a website together about Baby Baby Carrier Carrier. I always think more clearly when I am physically doing something. Sometimes, just sitting down in front of my computer causes me to draw a blank...such as now. This morning, I went to a yard sale down the road I live on. This is out in the country because they had a horse, goats, and some Quaker parrots for sale. I think I actually need a battle proof laptop computer. I seem to either tip them off the bed or something. But it seems to never fail. I'm on my 3rd one now. And it has got to end or I need to end buying my share of NEW laptops. And I do not think this is necessary something I keep doing to keep getting a laptop. But perhaps I need to look into a battleproof weather proof laptop. The last one went down in battle when I was anxiously search for Architectural Woodworking Boston and had a cup of coffee that spill on a just a very tiny portion of the laptop, but it still got fried. Argh! Notice how I will refuse to call this bad luck at all. Hehe.

I think those last minute deals are so worth of attention since they come so cheap when these airlines, hotels and cruises are not happy with the occupancy rates of their bookings. I just got back from a couple weeks spent working out of town - I mean 'way out of town'! We were in the middle of nowhere, with gloomy evergreens covered in new-fallen snow surrounding us. After our fairly warm winter so far, we had been lulled into a false sense of security and of course a rude awakening was bound to come our way. Well Wednesday night it hit us - about 35 below, and suddenly we were back in a real winter. Hard on the vehicles and even harder on the guys working outside all night. But righands don't quit, and 35 below weather won't stop them. They just kept on slogging away in the cold, barely visible in the ice fog hovering in the Arctic air. After checking on their frigid progress, Ihurriedback to my trailer,got on my computer, and continued my search for Aero Aero Bed Deluxe that had been stumping me for a while. At least I could dream that I was somewhere with a warm tropical sun beating down on me!

I have this friend of whom I do really enjoy being around. But he thinks he's like the smartest person on the planet - Literally. I mean, this guy thinks his some sort of Einstein, but even though he's had a PC for the last 10 years, he still doesn't know how to do some simple tasks on his computer. Just because he's can understand stuff like Casting Design Die, and I mean he really knows just about everything inside that subject, it doesn't make him a super smart dude. It's frustrating that he is actually highly intelligent so it's true that he's really got a grip on most folks and he can say he's above average in the smart category, but come on - EINSTEIN? I'm just saying this because I'd to get itoutof mysystem. I'm sure you've got a friend who drives you a bit nuts too.

The economy hasn't lost much steam entering the second quarter. Initial reports on activity in April have shown considerable momentum in manufacturing and the service sector. Personal income also continues to grow at a solid clip, a good sign for consumer spending. The data due out this week is expected to keep showing that the second quarter is, at least, starting out strong.

I received an invitation to my nephew's birthday party, but I wasn't really excited about attending. I prefer peace and quiet (which is why I'm single and childfree).
